    At Seiho-den, enjoy a Shokado Bento meal inspired by Shokado Shojo, a priest of the Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine, and other cuisine that evokes both history and culture.
    We are here to help visitors with photography, rental clothing, hair accessories, and anything else they need for their shrine visits for newborns and children aged 3, 5, 7, and 13.

    Our old folk house-style gallery features a miniature Japanese garden with a suikinkutsu (a musical water feature built with a buried earthen pot) and space to rest and relax.
    We display and sell Ryukyo-yaki ceramics that originated in Yawata, and also provide hands-on ceramics experiences and teach classes for neighborhood associations and children’s groups.
    Additionally, we sell Japanese black tea made in Yawata and Yamashiro black tea and high-grade tencha (the main ingredient of matcha,or powdered green tea) from Kyoto, and host demonstrations by Japanese tea instructors on how to brew tea most deliciously.
